2025 CANNONBALL RUN TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND THE RUN TRAVEL, INC. (TRT). PLEASE READ THESE ENTIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING. THEY CONTAIN IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE 2025 CANNONBALL RUN RALLY (“THE RUN”).
1. Nature of the Event
The 2025 Cannonball Run Rally (the “Run”) is designed for fun, exploration, and camaraderie—not for competition. Participants will drive vehicles they provide (each a “Vehicle”) along the Run’s planned route, which includes stops from [Location 1] to [Location 2]. The specific stops and route are subject to change at the discretion of TRT. Participants are responsible for transporting their Vehicles to the starting grid and back to their home or storage location post-rally.
2. What’s Included
TRT will provide the following during the Run:
Accommodations: Hotel rooms for every night (double occupancy).
Special Events and Activities: Includes group dinners, experiences, and entertainment.
While TRT will make reasonable efforts to maintain the planned events, services, and accommodations, changes may occur. TRT does not guarantee any specific type of event, service, accommodation, or room class at any lodging provided during the Run.
3. Prohibited Conduct
A. Scope:
These prohibitions apply from the moment the Run begins on October 7th, 2025, until it concludes on October 14th, 2025. This includes all time spent on and off the Run route.
B. Prohibited Acts:
Participants agree to abide by the following restrictions:
Alcohol and Drugs:
No open containers of alcohol in the vehicle’s interior unless sealed by the manufacturer.
No driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or other controlled substances.
No use, possession, sale, or distribution of illegal substances during the Run.
Traffic and Safety Laws:
Adherence to all federal, state, and local laws, including traffic and vehicle safety regulations.
Driving above the speed limit, reckless driving, and other illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Vehicle Safety:
Do not drive while fatigued, ill, or distracted.
Avoid conduct that endangers your safety or that of others.
Other Prohibited Conduct:
Actions that harm the reputation of TRT, the Run, its sponsors, or other participants.
Unauthorized commercial use of the Run’s intellectual property or your participation.
Participants violating these rules may be immediately removed from the Run without refund.
4. Requirements to Participate
Agreement to Terms:
All participants must agree to these terms before registration and again prior to the Run.Minimum Age:
Participants must be 21 years or older.Payments:
The participation fee is $25,000.00 (USD), payable in two installments of $12,500. The first payment is due upon registration, and the second within 30 days. Failure to pay on time may result in loss of your spot.Cancellation and Refunds:
Registrations are non-cancelable and non-refundable under any circumstances once accepted.Licensing and Registration:
Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license.
Vehicles must be legally registered for operation in the U.S. and compliant with applicable state laws.
International drivers must provide an International Driver’s Permit (IDP).
Vehicle Decals:
TRT reserves the right to affix decals to participating vehicles, including sponsor logos. These decals must remain on the vehicle throughout the Run and be removed only after its conclusion.Sponsorships:
Any sponsorships, logos, or branding on your vehicle must receive prior written approval from TRT.Image and Media Release:
By participating, you grant TRT the right to use your likeness, images, and recordings taken during the Run for promotional purposes, without compensation or limitation.
5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall TRT or its affiliates be held liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the Run.
6. Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold TRT harmless from any claims or liabilities resulting from their participation, including legal fees and damages.
7. Force Majeure
TRT reserves the right to cancel or modify the Run due to unforeseen events beyond its control, including natural disasters, government actions, or other emergencies.
8. Assumption of Risk and Release
Voluntary Participation:
By registering, participants acknowledge the risks associated with the Run, including injury, death, or property damage.
Release of Liability:
Participants waive all claims against TRT for damages or injuries sustained during the Run.
9. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement:
This document constitutes the full agreement between TRT and the participant.Governing Law:
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.Arbitration:
Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County, California.
By registering for the 2025 Cannonball Run Rally, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
